Half-Day Silent Meditation Retreat at Nalanda West

You are cordially invited to join Nalandabodhi Seattle for a half-day silent retreat at Nalanda West. The retreat will consist mostly of calm abiding meditation with alternating periods of walking meditation and mindful movement. This is a precious opportunity to spend some concentrated time on the cushion in a group setting, a chance to get to know our minds and to help help other do the same.

This first of a series of three meditation courses starts in January and offers instruction on Shamata,, or calm abiding meditation. The class is designed to help beginners establish an ongoing meditation practice. It includes basic meditation instruction such as posture and breathing as well as guided meditation.
