Open Half-Day Silent Meditation Retreat at Nalanda West

You are cordially invited to join Nalandabodhi Seattle for a half-day silent retreat at Nalanda West. The retreat will consist of calm abiding meditation with alternating periods of walking meditation and mindful movement. This is a precious opportunity to spend some concentrated time on the cushion in a group setting, a chance to get to know our minds and to help help other do the same.

9:00a sitting & walking meditation (in alteration)
11:45a closing chants & dedication of merit

Nalandabodhi Seattle invites you to join us for Sit & Stretch on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7:00–8:00a to ease into the practice of sitting meditation by gently waking the body and warming up the muscles. Through mindful movement and basic yoga, we will train in the suppleness required to sit comfortably so that our meditation can accomplish the goal of completely taming our minds.
