The Aspiration Prayer of Samantabhadra is particularly powerful during times of great disruption. Nalandabodhi Seattle is grateful for the opportunity to offer recently recorded teachings by Mitra Dean Karl Brunnhölzl in which he illuminates the power of this prayer.
This four-part series is based on his recently published book, A Lullaby to Awaken the Heart (2018), in which he shares the in-depth meaning and symbolism of each stanza of the aspiration. In times of great disruption it is easy to slip into destructive habits – fear, denial, confusion, negativity or a sense of righteousness. The Aspiration Prayer of Samantabhadra is the antidote to these delusions.
Copies of A Lullaby to Awaken the Heart are available through the Nalanda Store
