Life Release Practices June 17, 2023 Hong Kong & Taipei
The practice of life release – the purchase and release of beings who otherwise would die due to human activity – is taught to be a powerful practice for the benefit of sentient beings and for increasing the merit of those who are on the path of dharma.
On June 17, sanghas in Hong Kong and Taipei in partnership with Nalandabodhi Seattle offered two life releases to celebrate the birthday of our precious guru, Ponlop Rinpoche. On that day, hundreds of fish and other beings were released to continue on their journey.Â
