Acharya will be teaching the Mahamudra Aspiration by the Third Karmapa on Sundays from Oct. 25 through Dec. 13. He does not teach on Sangha Days, which occur on 3rd Sundays.

11 a.m. to Noon (Pacific) – Teaching by Acharya Tashi on the Mahamudra Aspiration by the Third Karmapa, Rangjung Dorje.
The Third Karmapa Rangjung Dorje (1284–1339) was a scholar of fabled erudition. He mastered texts and teachings across sectarian boundaries, wrote treatises on medicine and astrology, built monasteries, and was spiritual advisor to the last Yuan emperor. He is considered one of the most important and influential figures in Tibetan Buddhist history.

Acharya Tashi Wangchuk is the resident teacher at Nalanda West, Nalandabodhi’s center in Seattle. He was born in Bhutan. He studied for ten years and graduated from Karma Shri Nalanda Institute, the principal Karma Kagyu Monastic College. Currently lives in Seattle.
