REGISTRATION IS CLOSED

Nalandabodhi sangha members are invited to attend – remotely via Zoom – a series of 14 Saturday evening viewings of teachings given by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche during the 2002 Treasury of Knowledge retreat in San Antonio, Tex.

Viewings begin at 5 p.m. Pacific, 8 p.m. Eastern.

These Bardo Teachings provided the basis for Rinpoche’s book, “Mind Beyond Death,” published in 2006.

In its deepest meaning, bardo is the experience of awakened mind in every present moment.

To realize that state, the extensive teachings on bardo present 6 bardos: living, dreaming, meditation, dying, dharmata and becoming.

In these talks, Rinpoche teaches practices for realizing nature of mind that are most appropriate for each bardo, basing his commentary on bardo teachings of Padmasambhava.

Rinpoche supplements this with the bardo and powa yogas from the Six Yogas of Naropa section of Jamgon Kongtrul Lodrö Thaye’s “Treasury of Knowledge.”

Karen Wallace is coordinating this program, which will be offered from  May 16 through Aug. 22, with a one-week break on June 27.
