Nalandabodhi Seattle warmly invites practitioners to join us in a Day of Practice at Nalanda West. This day offers a precious opportunity to spend sustained time on the cushion in a supportive group setting—deepening our meditation practice while benefiting from the presence of sangha.
The day will begin with mindful movement, opening chants, and sitting meditation in the Mahabodhi Shrine Room, followed by a silent breakfast. After breakfast, there will be alternating periods of sitting and walking in the Mahabodhi Shrine Room. For those interested in Khadiravanitara (Green Tara) practice, Acharya Tashi will offer the Khadiravanitara lung followed by a Khadiravanitara Sadhana practice session in the Vajra Spot.
From 10:00 am to noon, participants may join one of several practice options: silent, shamatha meditation in the Mahabodhi Shrine Room, Ngöndro practice in the upstairs foyer, or Vajrasattva Sadhana practice in the Vajra Spot for qualified practitioners.
Simple vegetarian breakfast and lunch will be provided, and participants will help with mindful cleanup and work activities as part of creating and maintaining the practice day container.
