Off the Cushion: Practice in Daily Life

The four reminders are included in many Nalandabodhi practices. The preciousness of human birth, impermanence, karma and the suffering of samsara are the foundation of our study, meditation and practice.
Acharya Tashi, our resident teacher and Vice Chancellor of Nalandabodhi, will lead a discussion on these important precepts in a nine week series starting June 12. The morning will begin with meditation starting at 10:30 followed by a teaching and discussion.
We will not be having on-site attendance at Acharya’s teachings on June 12, 19 , 26 and July 3, 10, 17, 24. We hope to resume on-site attendance by August, please check the online calendar to confirm.
Acharya Tashi Wangchuk is Nalandabodhi Vice Chancellor and resident teacher at Nalanda West known for his engaging teaching style.
Born and raised in eastern Bhutan, Acharya Tashi moved to Rumtek Monastery in Sikkim, India, at the age of 15. While there, he studied for ten years and graduated from Karma Shri Nalanda Institute, the principal Karma Kagyu monastic college.
