Shakyamuni Festival - Nalandabodhi Seattle

Shakyamuni Festival

Monday, May 16
Online Practice 8-10:30 a.m.
Open House at Nalanda West 6-8 p.m.

On Shakyamuni Day, we commemorate the Buddha’s birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana.  It is the most significant Buddhist Holiday to observe. When we perform beneficial actions during this time, their results are greatly amplified.

We invite you to attend our annual celebration.

The day will begin with an online event hosted by Nalandabodhi International which will include meditation, liturgical practice and remarks by Mitra Mark Power.

Nalandabodhi members will receive a link for the online practice through their local sangha

In the evening, the Seattle sangha will host a social gathering for Nalandabodhi members, family and friends at Nalanda West.  No need to register.  We’ll offer snacks and beverages and an opportunity to connect with your sangha  friends.

We look forward to seeing you soon!!
