What does “community” mean to you and how have the events of the past year shaped your perspective? Prepare yourself to connect, engage and reflect during the 27th Annual Treasury of Knowledge retreat, a virtual, interactive experience presented by the Contemplative Resource Center.
During this informative weekend, Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche will share essential points of view, practices, and engaged, compassionate action as skillful means for empowering the development and sustainability of kind communities. The retreat will include small group discussions that will offer attendees the opportunity to contemplate and contribute.
A Virtual Program
The TOK 2021 weekend program is open to all around the globe and will be webcast. One unique feature of this retreat will be the depth and quality of the dialogue, both within and between the groups, and with Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche himself.
This year’s experience will include:
- Five teaching sessions by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche
- Two morning meditation sessions
- Mitra Mark Power will offer contemplations and instructions for the discussion groups
- 3 Interactive Discussion groups with Rinpoche (not recorded, live only) with sessions separated by language and time (see schedule)
- A large group discussion following the final talk
- Follow-up activities to keep the kind community together
Sessions will be recorded and become available for viewing 24 hours after the talks but it’s recommended that students who are able to attend live, do so. Taught in English and Tibetan with translations to Portuguese, Spanish, and Chinese.
Recordings of the talks will be viewable through December 31, 2021.
