Taking Every Day Life as the Path: Tools for Awaking

Self-Evaluation as a Cornerstone

The Path of Mindful Activity (PoMA) presents a pre-Losar workshop of teachings, reflections guided meditations and experiential exercises for practitioners of all levels based on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of DPR’s Six Cornerstones of Our Practices on the Path of Awakening.

Acharya Tashi Wangchuk will teach and guide us.

For Nalandabodhi practitioners of all levels.

The question is where we are on the path as an individual… This comes from our own evaluation where we are. Therefore, we must question genuinely ourselves, looking at our mind to see where we actually are on the path, what we actually see in front of us, what we actually experience in our mind stream… Your pen may be on the blue chart (one of our NB practice charts), but when you do the actual evaluation, your pen may move to yellow, or white, or no colors… If you match the right dharma with your state of mind and the level of progress where the mind is at that moment, then whatever ever kleshas and fixations arise in your mind, then that will be get cut through by the arrow of the dharma… We need to practice a dharma that directly addresses the state of mind that we are in now.

Therefore, we have to see if all our dharmas, studies, practices—we must see how much of them are in action, right?
