About Nalandabodhi Seattle
The Nalandabodhi Seattle community numbers over 150 people, some who are brand new to the practice of Buddhism, and some of whom have been studying and practicing for decades. The community, or “sangha,” is an important aspect of the Buddhist path. Sangha is students and practitioners who work together to support each other and to practice the principles that lead to liberation from suffering.
The local sangha gathers for study, practice, and activities. We have a lively study curriculum, a varied practice schedule, and ongoing opportunities to be involved in supporting the community, including social gatherings and celebrations.
If you’d like to get to know the sangha:
Nalandabodhi Seattle offers a Weekly Open House and Introduction to Buddhism on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30 pm. Includes a brief meditation followed by a talk given by one of our senior teachers. All are welcome to attend.
Additional Nalandabodhi Seattle events are listed in our calendar. All events are open to the public unless otherwise indicated. If you’d like to speak to someone about joining Nalandabodhi Seattle, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and include your name and telephone number, or see our membership section.
