Taking Everyday Life as the Path: Tools for Awakening — January 26, 2019

Saturday, January 26, 2019
10 AM-4 PM

Path of Mindful Activity presents a pre-Losar workshop of teachings, reflections, guided meditations, and experiential exercises for practitioners of all levels based on the 3rd, 4th, and 6th of DPR’s Six Cornerstones of Our Practices on the Path of Awakening. The first 3 cornerstones presented last year will be reviewed.

Acharya Tashi Wangchuk will teach and guide us. Midori Nakamura and Jay Sacks will assist.

So if such [a] thing is irritating us all the time, then its time for us to reflect and not go under the influence or power of our habitual mind, the usual routine. Instead, we should say “I’m going to approach this differently; this time I’m going to look at it, and see it and then let go, gradually.” This necessity for us to gradually let go in small stages and transform our habitual tendencies seems to be a key instruction for how to travel the Path.
